UAE Ghaf Population Genomics Study
Population-scale whole-genome resequencing of Ghaf trees collected across the UAE to characterize population structure, genetic diversity, differentiation and gene flow for conservation, seed banking and climate-resilient restoration.

04 / Evidence and provenance
Why the record is included.
Inclusion basis
Distinct, completed UAE population-genomics study with peer-reviewed publication, official institutional confirmation, and durable public raw/derived genomic-data identifiers.
Editorial note
Keep distinct from ae-ghaf-tree-genome (EAD-M42 reference genome/methylation project) and ae-native-plant-genome-sequencing (EAD-M42 12-species programme). The publication states that an existing Prosopis cineraria reference genome enabled the analysis, but Batch 005 does not assert a direct Atlas relationship until the cited reference assembly/project is explicitly reconciled.
