Distinct completed UAE reference-genome project with peer-reviewed publication, durable BioProject and assembly identifiers, and direct downstream reuse by the separately curated 2025 UAE Ghaf population-genomics study.

Editorial note

Preserve as distinct from the later EAD-M42 Ghaf genome/methylation project. Once both AE-C01 and AE-C02 are present in the same composed checkpoint, add only the directly evidenced reference-genome relationship rather than conflating project identities.
