Whole Genome Sequencing of Carbapenem Resistant Enterobacteriaceae
This study provides insight in to the molecular mechanisms behind the phenotypic carbapenem resistance seen in 32 bacterial isolates collected from patients with lower urinary tract infection at the Hamad General Hospital (Qatar). We believe that this is the first description of carbapenem resistance genes among pediatric population from Qatar.
The accession and its GCC connection are verified. Registration alone does not establish that the broader research programme remains active.
