Pachyseris speciosa isolate:Pachyseris speciosa s.l. Genome sequencing and assembly

Saudi ArabiaEnvironmental and microbial genomicsRepository record

This genome assembly is part of the Sea-quence Project. (https://data.bioplatforms.com/organization/about/bpa-great-barrier-reef)The Sea-quence Project is generating core genetic data for corals from the Great Barrier Reef and Red Sea to ultimately help guide reef management practices. The project aims to sequence the genomes of 9 coral species across 6 different coral types, 3-4 algal symbionts and generate a new suite of microbial symbiont sequence data. This project is an initiative of the Reef Future Genomics (ReFuGe 2020) Consortium. Membership of the consortium includes:Great Barrier Reef FoundationJames Cook UniversityAustralian Institute of Marine ScienceUniversity of QueenslandThe Great Barrier Reef Marine Park AuthorityKing Abdullah University of Science and Technology (Saudi Arabia)Australian National UniversityBioplatforms AustraliaFor more information, please visit: http://www.bioplatforms.com/great-barrier-reef/For access to the assembled genomes, please go to http://refuge2020.reefgenomics.org/

Repository interpretation

The accession and its GCC connection are verified. Registration alone does not establish that the broader research programme remains active.
