Homo sapiens Raw sequence reads
This study investigates the genomic landscape of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) in a cohort of Kuwaiti patients. Using targeted next-generation sequencing of tumor samples, we characterized somatic mutations in 74 histologically confirmed PTC cases. The analysis confirmed the predominance of established MAPK pathway drivers, including BRAF and RAS mutations, and identified rare candidate variants in BCOR, STAG2, PTPRT, and ARID1A. These data contribute to understanding population-specific genomic features of thyroid cancer and may support future research into molecular mechanisms and precision oncology approaches.
