Whole-genome sequencing to investigate the genetic diversity of Omani indigenous chickens.

The study consists of 27 indigenous chicken samples from Oman. Samples were collected from the town called Barka from the Northern part of Oman. The samples were sequenced on Illumina HiSeqX 10 platform with an average coverage > 30x.
