Influenza B genomics in Saudi Arabia 2024-2025
Study performed whole-genome sequencing of six influenza B virus isolates, including one fatal pediatric case, obtained from patients at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Riyadh. Five isolates, including the fatal case, were grouped within the V1A.3a.2 subclade C.5.6, whereaswhile one non-fatal isolate clustered within a closely related subclade
