Sphingomonas jeddahensis strain:G39 Genome sequencing and assembly
Sphingomonas sp. strain G39 is of special interest, because this strain represents a new species in the genus Sphingomonas. It was isolated from desert soil collected near Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, we will designate this isolate as S. jeddahensis strain G39T. Consequently, the genome of S. jeddahensis strain G39 was sequenced and is now available for further studies.
